1What this is

baskt is a set of smart contracts on Robinhood Chain and a web interface for using them. The contracts are autonomous: once deployed they run as written, and no party can pause them, upgrade them, or move funds a user has not authorised in the transaction they signed.

The interface is a convenience. It reads public blockchain data and helps construct transactions that you sign with your own wallet. You may interact with the contracts directly and ignore this site entirely.

2No custody, no accounts

We never take custody of your assets. There is no account to create, no deposit to make, and no balance held on your behalf. Your wallet holds your assets before, during and after every interaction, and only you can authorise a transaction.

We cannot reverse, cancel, freeze or recover a transaction. We cannot recover a lost private key or seed phrase. Assets sent to a wrong address are gone.

3Not investment advice

Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, or custodian, and no communication from this interface should be read as a solicitation.

Figures shown, including prices, market caps, costs and capacity estimates, are derived from public chain data and third-party feeds. They may be delayed, wrong, or unavailable, and you should not rely on them.

4Risk disclosure

Coins can go to zero. Tokens launched through these contracts are speculative, frequently have no purpose beyond speculation, and most will lose all of their value. Only commit what you can lose entirely.

Stock tokens are not shares. The tokens a basket holds are issued by a third party and track the price of a listed security. They do not confer ownership of that security, voting rights, or any claim against the company. They carry the credit risk of their issuer.

Markets run at different hours. Stock tokens are created and redeemed by their issuer on weekdays, while these pools trade continuously. Prices here can diverge from the underlying market when it is closed, sometimes sharply.

Liquidity is locked permanently. That prevents anyone from withdrawing a launched pool's liquidity, and it equally means a pool cannot be unwound, corrected, or migrated.

Smart contracts can fail. The contracts have not been audited by an external firm. They may contain errors that result in total loss. The same applies to the third-party protocols they build on, including the launch factory and the exchanges trades route through.

Fees and slippage. Trades pay pool fees, price impact, and network gas. Quoted amounts are estimates and the executed result may differ within the slippage tolerance you set.

5Eligibility

You may not use this interface if you are a resident of, located in, or a citizen of any jurisdiction where doing so would breach applicable law, or where the underlying stock tokens may not lawfully be offered or held. The issuer of those tokens restricts them in a number of jurisdictions, including the United States, and it is your responsibility to confirm your own position.

You may not use this interface if you are subject to economic sanctions or named on a restricted-parties list, nor to launder money, finance terrorism, manipulate a market, or commit fraud.

By using the interface you represent that you are of legal age and that none of the above applies to you.

6Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your wallet and keys, for the accuracy of every transaction you sign, for evaluating any basket or coin before interacting with it, and for the tax consequences of what you do.

Anyone can create a basket and anyone can launch a coin. Their appearance in this interface is not an endorsement, a review, or any indication of quality or legitimacy. Names and symbols are chosen by whoever created them and may imitate something else. Verify the contract address before you trade.

7No warranty

The interface and the contracts are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the interface will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

8Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, no contributor to this project is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or assets, arising from your use of or inability to use the interface or the contracts, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, and regardless of whether the possibility of such loss was advised.

9Privacy

We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information, and there is no account to create. We do not collect or store personal data on a server of our own.

Using the interface necessarily discloses some information to third parties. Your wallet address and the transactions you sign are published to a public blockchain by design, permanently and by anyone readable. Your internet address is visible to the node providers, price feeds, block explorers and hosting provider the site depends on, each under their own policy. Connecting a wallet shares your address with this site for the session.

Preferences such as your chosen theme are stored in your own browser and never transmitted. We do not sell data, because we do not hold any to sell.

10Intellectual property and third parties

The contracts, this interface, and the baskt name and marks are proprietary. All rights are reserved. This software is not open source, and nothing here grants you a licence to copy, modify, redistribute or reuse any part of it. Where contract source is published to a block explorer, it is published so that anyone can verify what is deployed; that is transparency, not a licence.

You may of course interact with the deployed contracts. That follows from their being on a public blockchain and is not a grant of rights in the source.

Parts of this software depend on, and in one case derive from, third-party components under their own licences, which we honour. The interface also depends on services operated by others, including blockchain nodes, exchanges, price feeds and block explorers; their availability and accuracy are outside our control and their terms apply to your use of them.

11Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the interface after a change means you accept it. Deployed contracts cannot be changed, whatever these terms say.

For how the protocol works mechanically, see the docs.
